On Thursday, I gave you Outside Magazine’s Best Documentary List, which was featured in Outside’s September issue and included 25 great documentary films.A few of those movies have won Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature, which got me to wondering about what other movies have received an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.
I researched the subject, and tonight, I give you a complete list of all of the documentary films that have received Oscar awards since the awards for Best Documentary Feature was given in 1942. Without further ado, here’s the list:
