Five UFO reports were filed in Alabama during the month of November 2014

It’s the first Thursday of the month, so this week I’m giving you an update on UFO reports in Alabama from the previous month, courtesy of the Mutual UFO Network.

A search for UFO reports in Alabama between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30 on MUFON’s website, www.mufon.com, resulted in five reports from within our state during that time.

The first incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Sun., Nov. 2, near Huguley, a small town in Chambers County. The witness in this case was driving east on Interstate Highway 85 when he saw a disk-shaped craft with two, bright tube-shaped lights descend slowly to the west. The craft hovered over the treetops for about five seconds before it flew away to the southeast with “incredible acceleration” and disappeared.

The second incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on Tues., Nov. 4, near Hueytown, which is in western Jefferson County. The witness in this case claimed that his game trail camera captured a photograph of a cigar-shaped craft hovering near the ground in front of the camera. He said the object looked about 30 feet long and that it had “light bars” in the rear.

The third incident occurred around midnight on Mon., Nov. 10, near Mobile. The witness in this case claimed to have seen an unusual light shining through their window. When he looked out the window, he saw that the source of the light was hovering over his house. He got in his car and tried to follow the object and watched as two more of the objects appeared. Eventually, they “vanished,” he reported.

The fourth incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Fri., Nov. 14, near Birmingham. The witness in this case was driving home and noticed a “huge plus sign” shaped object that was “much larger than a commercial aircraft.” The craft also bristled with numerous antennas, “way more than 50.” The witness continued to drive along and eventually drove under the object. He then lost sight of it when he drove under the branches of a large tree.

The fifth incident occurred around 5:55 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 19, between Bessemer and Hoover in Jefferson County. The witness in this case was driving towards Hoover on Interstate Highway 459 when he noticed something strange in the sky just past the Morgan Road Exit. At first, he thought it was a small, two-seat airplane flying slowly at low altitude, but then it flipped upside down, turned upside down, stopped and began to hover. As the witness drove closer to the object, he realized that the object was black, triangle-shaped and had three to four white lights on each side. In all, the witness watched this object for about a minute.

Before closing out this week, I just want to put it out there again that I would be very interested to hear from anyone who have witnessed a UFO, especially in Conecuh County. I think a lot of other people would be interested in hearing your story too, and I’m willing to accept your report anonymously.
