2011 Harvey Award finalists announced... Who do you think will win?

The 2011 Harvey Award nominees were announced earlier this week, and if you like comic books and graphic novels, you’ll likely see some of your favorites listed among this year’s slate of nominees.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Harvey Awards, they have been awarded since 1988 to recognize achievement in the comic books field. Named after famous comic book writer-artist Harvey Kurtzman, the Harvey Awards are nominated by an open vote among comic book professionals, and the winners are chosen from the top five nominees in each category.

What follows is a list of finalists in some of the more prominent “book” categories.
