'Now You See Her' tops hardcover fiction best-sellers list

It’s Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly review of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Seller List. According to the list, we’ve got two new books at the top of the four major best-seller lists this week.

"Now You See Her" by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge replaced "Smokin' Seventeen" by Janet Evanovich as the top book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"Go the F to Sleep" by Adam Mansbach and Illustrations by Ricardo Cortes retained the top spot on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

"Hell's Corner" by David Baldacci replaced "A Game of Thrones" by George R.R. Martin as the No. 1 book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"The Help" by Kathryn Stockett retained the top spot on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

There are three books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They (along with their place on the list) include "Now You See Her" by James Patterson, Michael Ledwidge (1), "The Paris Wife" by Paula McLain (13) and "The Hypnotist" by Lars Kepler (14).

There are three books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They include "The Aging Myth" by Joseph Chang (4), "Clinch" by Cynthia Cass (10) and "How to Get Out of Your Own Way" by Tyrese Gibson (13).

There are seven books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on that list last week. They include "Hell's Corner" by David Baldacci (1), "The Creed Legacy" by Linda Lael Miller (2), "Deeper than Midnight" by Lara Adrian (5), "Savor the Danger" by Lori Foster (9), "Heartless" by Gail Carriger (12), "Betrayal" by Fern Michaels (13) and "Veil of Night" by Linda Howard (15).

There are three books on this week’s trade paperbacks list that weren’t on the list last week. They include "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho (12), "A Dog's Purpost" by W. Bruce Cameron (13) and "Unlikely Friendships" by Jennifer S. Holland (15).

As a reminder, I’m posting these lists each Sunday because they, as a whole, represent a great, contemporary recommended reading list.
