Clancy's 'Against All Enemies' reappears on best-sellers list

It’s Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly review of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Seller List. According to the list, there are three new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"Stay Close" by Harlan Coben replaced "Lone Wolf" by Jodi Picoult as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"Imagine" by Jonah Lehrer replaced "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History" by Chris Kyle, Jim DeFelice and Scott McEwen as the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

"The Magic" by Rhonda Byrne replaced "Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James as the No. 1 book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks retained its place as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

There are five books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They (along with their place on the list) include "Stay Close" by Harlan Coben (1), "Force of Nature" by C.J. Box (3), "Phantom" by Ted Bell (6), "Born to Darkness" by Suzanne Brockmann (11) and "Fall from Grace" by Richard North Patterson (14).

There are five books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They include "Imagine" by Jonah Lehrer (1), "The Lean" by Kathy Freston (7), "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed (10), "Some Assembly Required" by Ann Lamott with Sam Lamott (11) and "Why Nations Fail" by Daron Acemoglu & James Robinson (15).

There are three books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on that list last week. They include "I'll Walk Alone" by Mary Higgins Clark (2), "Against All Enemies" by Tom Clancy with Peter Telep (13) and "Devious" by Lisa Jackson (15).

There are three books on this week’s trade paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They include "The Magic" by Rhonda Byrne (1), "The Weird Sisters" by Eleanor Brown (12) and "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell (13).

As a reminder, I’m posting these lists each Sunday because they, as a whole, represent a great, contemporary recommended reading list.
