'Baseball America Prospect Handbook' appears on best-sellers list this week

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there are three new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"The Chase" by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg replaced "Concealed in Death" by J.D. Robb as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"The Blood Sugar Solution 10-Day Detox Diet" by Mark Hyman replaced "Super Shred" by Ian K. Smith as the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

"The Chance" by Robyn Carr replaced "Six Years" by Harlan Coben as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"Second Honeymoon" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan remained the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list for the fourth week straight.

There were three new books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their places on the list) included "The Chase" by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg (1), "The Undead Pool" by Kim Harrison (4) and "Bark" by Lorrie Moore (15).

There were three new books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that wasn’t on the list last week. Those books included "The Blood Sugar Solution 10-Day Detox Diet" by Mark Hyman (1), "A Short Guide to a Long Life" by David B. Agus (3) and "The Future of the Mind" by Michio Kaku (5).

Those books included "The Chance" by Robyn Carr (1), "North to Alaska" by Debbie Macomber (3), "Tell Me" by Lisa Jackson (4), "The Heist" by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg (5), "Alex Cross, Run" by James Patterson (6), "Vampire Most Wanted" by Lynsay Sands (11) and "Girl Missing' by Tess Gerritsen (12).
