Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly
breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to
those lists, there are three new books at the top of the four major
best-sellers lists this week.
"Words of Radiance" by Brandon Sanderson replaced
"The Chase" by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg as the No. 1 book on
the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.
"Alex Cross, Run" by James Patterson replaced
"The Chance" by Robyn Carr as the top book on the mass market
paperback best-sellers list.
"Twelve Years a Slave" by Solomon Northup replaced
"Second Honeymoon" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan as the top
book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.
"The Blood Sugar Solution 10-Day Detox Diet" by
Mark Hyman remained the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list
for the second straight week.
There were five new books on this week’s hardcover fiction
best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their
places on the list) included "Words of Radiance" by Brandon Sanderson
(1), "The Bootlegger" by Clive Cussler and Justin Scott (2),
"Bone Deep" by Randy Wayne White (9), "The Walking Dead" by
Robert Kirkman (13) and "The Husband's Secret" by Liane Moriarty

See Clearly Now" by Wayne W. Dyer (7) and "Lean In" by Sheryl
