Neal Beats Aggies By 20-0 Count: The Evergreen Aggies dropped their fourth game in a row last Friday night to W.S. Neal in Brewton by 20-0. The Aggies have yet to score this season.
Neal field a strong running ball club featuring three scatbacks, Jones, Simmons and Dawkins. The Aggies were never about to generate any steam after Neal scored their first TD.
Jimmy Bell was outstanding for the Aggies, even in defeat. The plucky QB ran the ball 14 times and picked up 65 yards. The total Aggie offense netted only 103 yards.
Neal netted 305 yards total offense and seemed to gain at will all over the Aggie line. Timely tackles by Aggie linebacker H.W. Ward prevented several more sure touchdown runs.
The Aggies are still suffering from injuries and were able to muster only three of the original starting line-up for the Neal game.
Evergreen returns to home territory this week when they meet Greenville at Brooks Stadium tomorrow night.

QB Club Bringing Wrestlers To Repton: The “grunt-and-groan” artists are coming to Repton. The Repton Quarterback Club is sponsoring a three-match program at the high school auditorium Wednesday night. The first bout gets underway at eight o’clock.
Wrestlers featured in the Repton appearance are regulars on the matches televised by a Mobile station.
Highlighting the bouts will be two popular women wrestlers who will mix it up in the opening match. They are Millie Stafford and Ann Luverne.
In the second match, two toughies, Bobby Fields and Rube Wright, will go at each other. Both have been very popular wrestlers on TV and in personal appearance bouts over this section.
The grand finale promises to be a really interesting match. It will be a sort of “mixed doubles” with one of the gals teaming with one of the men against a similar team in a tag team match.
Admission prices of 50 cents for students and $1 for adults have been set for the program.

Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Camp and Philip attended the Auburn-Chattanooga football game Saturday in Auburn.

Down The Halls of E.H.S.: The cheerleaders have been busy keeping up the school spirit at recess and dinner every day.
Due to a faculty meeting, the students were given some free time on Monday. The majority of the students spent this time at a pep rally on the front lawn.
Though the Aggies were defeated again, the students returned Monday morning with renewed spirit and enthusiasm.

Opp Defeats Aggies By One Touchdown: Opp Bobcats came over Friday afternoon doped to play the local football aggregation off their feet and go home with a big one-sided score as trophy of the occasion. Even the most optimistic of local enthusiasts predicted that the visitors would beat the Aggies by at least three or four touchdowns. When the Bobcats arrived in town they appeared such a husky bunch that their stock went even higher.
However, the old dope bucket was destined for an upset and when the smoke of battle cleared away after one of the hardest fought games ever witnessed on the local field, the Bobcats could only boast of one lone touchdown. This marker was put over in the first few minutes of play, probably on the fourth play of the game. After this, the Aggies settled down and played such a game as perhaps they never had before. It is generally conceded that had they fought from the first whistle as they did from this touchdown out, the score would have been 0 to 0. Though the locals made about as many first downs and gained nearly as much yardage after Opp scored, their gains were not consistent enough to put over a score.
The team that played against Opp Friday was altogether different in spirit and appearance from the one that defeated Excel the previous week 7 to 0. Coach McInnis and his assistant, Mr. Howard, had smoothed out lots of the rough, weak spots and the team was clicking far better. With continued improvement, the Aggies should win nearly, if not all, of their games from here out.
Friday afternoon they go up to the McKenzie Fair to meet the Georgiana team.

We understand that four or five barrels of fish were caught at P.C. Walker’s mill last Saturday. The water was drained off for purpose of repairing the mill, which left the finny tribes at the mercy of their captors. It was fine sport.
