New Clive Cussler book 'The Mayan Secrets' debuts on best-sellers list

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there are four new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"Never Go Back" by Lee Child replaced "The Cuckoo's Calling" by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list this week.

"Si-Cology 1" by Si Robertson replaced "The Liberty Amendments" by Mark R. Levin as the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

"The Racketeer" by John Grisham replaced "The Hero" by Robyn Carr as the No. 1 book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"The Secret Keeper" by Beverly Lewis replaced "The Racketeer" by John Grisham as the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

There were five books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on that list last week. They (and their places on the list) included "Never Go Back" by Lee Child (1), "The Mayan Secrets" by Clive Cussler and Thomas Perry (2), "Styxx" by Sherrilyn Kenyon (3), "Dark Lycan" by Christine Feehan (4) and "Maddaddam" by Margaret Atwood (9).

There were six books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "Si-Cology 1" by Si Robertson (1), "Mission in a Bottle" by Seth Goldman (7), "God Is Not Mad at You" by Joyce Meyer (8), "Salinger" by David Shields (9), "Under Fire" by Fred Burton and Samuel M. Katz (14) and "Ottolenghi: The Cookbook" by Yotam Ottolenghi (15).

There were four books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "The Bone Bed" by Patricia Cornwell (4), "Deamond in the Rough" by Diana Palmer (9), "The Blood Gospel" by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell (12) and "The Husband List" by Janet Evanovich, Dorien Kelly (13).

There were three books on this week’s trade paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "The Secret Keeper" by Beverly Lewis (1), "Michael Symon's 5 in 5" by Michael Symon (6) and "Private Berlin" by James Patterson and Mark Sullivan (10).
