Magic Eight Ball answers January round of 'yes or no' questions

It’s the second Thursday of the month, so what better time to whip out my Magic Eight Ball and ask it a few “yes or no” questions.

This month’s set of questions came to me via e-mail and Facebook. Below you’ll find the unedited questions and answers to the questions that I asked my Magic Eight Ball on Monday.

Scott asked: Will the upcoming county elections be more heated than the last?
Answer: Maybe.

Harry asked: What about next year’s city elections?
Answer: My sources say no.

Connie asked: Will all of the commissioners be replaced in the election?
Answer: Ask again later.

Johnny asked: Will the incumbents fair well in the coming county elections?
Answer: No way!

Clifton asked: Will voter turnout be high in the upcoming primary election?
Answer: No way!

Eddie asked: Will the landfill issue be the determining factor in how most folks vote in the primary election?
Answer: Definitely.

Larry asked: Will Rick Santorum be the Republican candidate in this year’s presidential election?
Answer: No way!

Angela asked: What about Mitt Romney?
Answer: No way!

Richard asked: What about Newt Gingrich?
Answer: Definitely!

Harold asked: Will Gingrich be able to defeat Obama in the general election?
Answer: Yes.

David asked: Will the “boom” mystery ever be solved?
Answer: Outlook not so good.

Josh asked: Will we ever definitively determine what the “booms” are?
Answer: No way!

Michael asked: Should Obama be impeached for his acts of treason against America?
Answer: Maybe.

Patsy asked: Are we going to get any snow this winter?
Answer: Definitely.

Joel asked: Will the temperature ever get down into the teens in Evergreen this winter?
Answer: Absolutely!

John asked: Will the job market pick up in Conecuh County in the next month?
Answer: My sources say no.

Robert asked: How about in surrounding counties?
Answer: My sources say no.

Lavon asked: Was Obama born in the USA?
Answer: Definitely.

Juliette asked: Will we ever be done with Sarah Palin?
Answer: Absolutely!

Shaw asked: Are the Green Bay Packers going to win the Super Bowl this year?
Answer: Maybe.

Hubert asked: How about the Saints?
Answer: Outlook not so good.

Joshua asked: Will Auburn EVER name an offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator?
Answer: Ask again later.

John asked: Will Gus Malzhan be successful at Arkansas State?
Answer: Definitely.

Leonard asked: Will Alabama have an even better football team next season?
Answer: Ask again later.

Answer: Outlook not so good.

With that said, I guess I’ll give my old Eight Ball a rest for a few weeks and close this thing out until the second Thursday in February.
