'Heaven is for Real' takes No. 1 spot on best-sellers list this week

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there is only one new book at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo replaced "Shadow Spell" by Nora Roberts as the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"I've Got You Under My Skin" by Mary Higgins Clark remained the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list for the second week in a row.

"Flash Boys" by Michael Lewis remained the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list for the second straight week.

"Never Go Back" by Lee Child remained the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list for the second week in a row.

There were four new books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their places on the list) included "Carnal Curiosity" by Stuart Woods (3), "Keep Quiet" by Lisa Scottoline (4), "In Paradise" by Peter Matthiessen (11) and "Cauldron of Ghosts" by David Weber (12).

There were seven new books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that wasn’t on the list last week. Those books included "Face the Music" by Paul Stanley (3), "Big Tent" by Mallory Factor and Elizabeth Factor (5), "Miracles Now" by Gabrielle Bernstein (6), "The Chopped Cookbook" by Food Network Kitchens (12), "Love Life" by Rob Lowe (13), "My Paris Kitchen" by David Lebovitz (14) and "Eat What You Love-Everyday!" by Marlene Koch (15).

There were three new books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books included "North to Alaska" by Debbie Macomber (13), "The Mystery Woman" by Amanda Quick (14) and "The Beast" by Faye Kellerman (15).

There were five books on this week’s trade paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "Total Body Transformation" by Michelle Bridges (5), "Carry On Warrior" by Glennon Doyle Melton (6), "The Truth About Retirement Plans and IRAs" by Ric Edelman (12), "Behind the Beautiful Forevers" by Katherine Boo (14) and "10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse" by JJ Smith (15).
