Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly
breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to
those lists, there are three new books at the top of the four major
best-sellers lists this week.
"NYPD Red" by James Patterson and Marshall Karp
replaced "Missing You" by Harlan Coben as the No. 1 book on the
hardcover fiction best-sellers list.
"The Hungry Girl Diet" by Lisa Lillien replaced
"The Body Book" by Cameron Diaz as the top book on the hardcover
nonfiction best-sellers list.
"Shadow Spell" by Nora Roberts replaced
"Mistress" by James Patterson and David Ellis as the top book on the
trade paperbacks best-sellers list.
"Daddy's Gone A Hunting" by Mary Higgins Clark
remained the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list for the
second straight week.
There were three new books on this week’s hardcover fiction
best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their
places on the list) included "NYPD Red" by James Patterson and Marshall
