'Flash Boys' debuts at the top of the nonfiction best-sellers list this week

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there are three new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"I've Got You Under My Skin" by Mary Higgins Clark replaced "NYPD Red" by James Patterson and Marshall Karp as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"Flash Boys" by Michael Lewis replaced "The Hungry Girl Diet" by Lisa Lillien as the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

"Never Go Back" by Lee Child replaced "Daddy's Gone A Hunting" by Mary Higgins Clark as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"Shadow Spell" by Nora Roberts remained the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list for the second week in a row.

There were five new books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their places on the list) included "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Mary Higgins Clark (1), "The King: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood" by J.R. Ward (2), "By Its Cover" by Donna Leon (10), "Destroyer Angel" by Nevada Barr (12) and "Warriors" by Ted Bell (13).
