'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' makes two best-sellers lists this week

It’s Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly review of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Seller List. According to the list, there are two new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"The Lost Years" by Mary Higgins Clark replaced "Lover Reborn" by J.R. Ward as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James replaced "What Do You Want to Do Before You Die?" by Jonnie Penn and Dave Lingwood as the No. 1 book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"Drift" by Rachel Maddow retained its place as the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list for the second week in a row.

"The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks retained its place as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list for the third straight week.

There are nine books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They (along with their place on the list) include "The Lost Years" by Mary Higgins Clark (1), "Sacre Bleu: A comedy d'Art" by christopher Moore (3), "The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection: No 1. Ladies Detective Agency" by Alexander McCall Smith (4), "The Shoemaker's Wife" by Adriana Trigiani (6), "The Beginner's Goodbye" by Anne Tyler (7), "Gypped: A Regan Reilly Mystery" by Carol Higgins Clark (10), "Beastly Things: A Commissario Guido Brunetti Mystery" by Donna Leon (11), "Dorchester Terrace: A Charlotte and Thomas Pitt Novel" by Anne Perry (14) and "The Big Cat Nap: The 20th Anniversary Mrs. Murphy Mystery" by Rita Mae Brown (15).

They include "Trickle Down Tyranny: Crushing Obama's Dream of the Socialist States of America" by Michael Savage (4), "Mrs. Kennedy and Me: An Intimate Memoir" by Lisa McCubbin and Clint Hill (7), "All In: The Education of General David Petraeus" by Paula Broadwell and Vernon Loch (9) and "Positive Intelligence: Why Only 20 per cent of Teams and Individuals Achieve Their True Potential and How You Can Achieve Yours" by Shirzad Chamine (12).

There are four books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on that list last week. They include "Chasing Fire" by Nora Roberts (5), "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" by Seth Grahame-Smith (9), "Betrayal: A Novel" by Christina Dodd (12) and "Just Down the Road" by Jodi Thomas (13).

There are four books on this week’s trade paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They include "Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James (1), "Now You See Her" by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge (12), "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" by Seth Grahame-Smith (13) and "Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering Everything" by Joshua Foer (14).
