The 'Lucas' Raiders' historical marker in Monroeville, Ala. |
A couple of years ago, I started photographing and writing
about historical markers as I encountered them on my wanderings in and around
Alabama and elsewhere. Not only did these markers provide great material for my blog,
but the experience was also very educational. About a year ago, I added “Photograph
100 historical markers” to my official “bucket list,” and during the past week,
I finally featured the 100th marker on my blog.
