Three UFO sightings were reported in Alabama during month of October

Unusual 'oval-shaped' object photographed on Oct. 21 in Montgomery, Ala.
Today marks the fourth Thursday of the month, so today I’m giving you an update on UFO reports in Alabama from the previous month, courtesy of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). A search for UFO reports in Alabama between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31, on MUFON’s website, www.mufon.com, resulted in three reports from within our state during that time.

The first incident took place on Mon., Oct. 2, around 8:30 p.m. in Gordo, which is in Pickens County, in West-Central Alabama. The witness in this case said that she and her husband saw two “star-like” objects in the northern sky that would grow “very bright” for a few moments before dimming again. They witnessed this for about two hours as the objects remained in the same general part of the sky, and the witnesses noted that the objects seemed to “dim out” when there were airplanes in the area.

The woman said that the lights emitted no noise and left no trail behind. One of the objects gave off a blue-white light while the other object was redder in color. They would hover and change directions very quickly before coming to an abrupt halt, the woman said. One of the objects grew as “bright as the moon” before dimming, and they would also quickly flash before going out altogether, almost as if they were signaling. The objects eventually moved out of sight, below the horizon.

“We don't know what they are but we know they are not airplanes or helicopters,” the woman said.

The second incident took place on Sat., Oct. 21, at 4:53 p.m. in Montgomery. The witness in this case was outside taking photographs of the sky and when he loaded the photos onto his laptop, he noticed something out of the ordinary in one of the photos – an oval-shaped object. The witness noted that he didn’t see the object when he initially took the photograph, only afterward. The witness theorized that the objects were moving so fast in real-time that he was unable to see them clearly with the naked eye.

The third incident occurred on Sun., Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Gaylesville, which is in Cherokee County, in Northeast Alabama. The witness in this case reported that he and many of his neighbors have been watching 10 to 20 “very fast-moving lights” near their homes every night for quite a while.

“I’m starting to think I have the most active UFO site on earth,” the witness said. “We usually see 20-plus a night. They seem to be coming from a portal right above my house.”

The witness said that these unusual objects “do some crazy movements and unreal speeds.”

Before closing out this week, I just want to put it out there again that I would be very interested to hear from anyone who have witnessed a UFO, especially in Conecuh County. I think a lot of other people would be interested in hearing your story too, and I’m willing to accept your report anonymously.
