Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there are two new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.
"Cross My Heart" by James Patterson replaced "Takedown Twenty" by Janet Evanovich as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.
"Dark Witch" by Nora Roberts replaced "Miss Kay's Duck Commander Kitchen" by Kay Robertson as the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.
"Notorious Nineteen" by Janet Evanovich remained the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list for the second week in a row.
There were three books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on that list last week. They (and their places on the list) included "Cross My Heart" by James Patterson (1), "Inferno" by Dan Brown (11) and "The Supreme Macaroni Company" by Adriana Trigiani (13).
There were three books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook" by Gary Vaynerchuk (9), "Happy, Happy, Happy" by Phil Robertson (14) and "My Promised Land" by Ari Shavit (15).
There were five new books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list. They included "Sinister" by Lisa Jackson (2), "Shadow Woman" by Linda Howard (7), "Twilight" by Sherryl Woods (11), "Dream Wedding" by Susan Mallery (12) and "Second Chance Pass" by Robyn Carr (13).
There were three books on this week’s trade paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "World Almanac and Book of Facts 2014" by Sarah Janssen (5), "The Christmas Wedding" by James Patterson (7) and "The Aviator's Wife" by Melanie Benjamin (15).
