Stephen King's 'Doctor Sleep' returns to best-sellers lists

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there is only one new book at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"Second Honeymoon" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan replaced "Deadline" by Sandra Brown as the top book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd remained the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list for the fifth straight week.

"Duty" by Robert M. Gates remained the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list for the fourth week in a row.

"Until the End of Time" by Danielle Steel remained the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list for the second week in a row.

There were four new books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books (and their places on the list) included "One More Thing" by B.J. Novak (6), "Cell" by Robin Cook (12), "Doctor Sleep" by Stephen King (13) and "Confessions of a Wild Child" by Jackie Collins (15).

There were four new books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that wasn’t on the list last week. Those books included "Scaling Up Excellence" by Robert I. Sutton (10), "I Am a Church Member" by Thom S. Rainer (11), "Glitter and Glue" by Kelly Corrigan (13) and "All Joy and No Fun" by Jennifer Senior (15).

There were five new books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. Those books included "Walking On Air" by Catherine Anderson (8), "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell (12), "Matt Jensen: The Last Mountain Man 9" by William W. Johnstone (13), "The Morning After" by Lisa Jackson (14) and "Paradise Valley" by Robyn Carr (15).

They included "Second Honeymoon" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan (1), "Pokemon X & Pokemon Y" by Pokemon Co. International (7), "Black Rose" by Nora Roberts (8), "Letting Go" by Maya Banks (9) and "Miss Kay's Duck Commander Kitchen" by Kay Robertson (15).
