F. Scott Fitzgerald's 'The Great Gatsby' returns to best-sellers list

Today is Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Sellers Lists. According to those lists, there are two new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"The Hit" by David Baldacci replaced "Whiskey Beach" by Nora Roberts as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls" by David Sedaris replaced "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg as the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list.

"The Best of Me" by Nicholas Sparks remained the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list for the fourth straight week.

"Proof of Heaven" by Eben Alexander remained the No. 1 book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list for the second week in a row.

There were six books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on that list lat week. They (and their places on the list) included "The Hit" by David Baldacci (1), "Fly Away" by Kristin Hannah (3), "Paris" by Edward Rutherford (5), "Wedding Night: A Novel" by Sophie Kinsella (6), "Star Wars: Vader's Little Princess" by Jeffrey Brown (7) and "The Mystery Woman" by Amanda Quick (8).

There were eight books on this week’s hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls" by David Sedaris (1), "Start: Punch Fear in the Face, Escape Average and Do Work that Matters" by Jon Acuff (3), "Jumpstart to Skinny: The Simple 3-Week Plan for Supercharged Weight Loss" by Bob Harper and Greg Critser (5), "Cooked: A Natural History of Transformation" by Michael Pollan (6), "Becoming a Supple Leopard" by Kelly Starrett and Glen Cordoza (8), "Trident K9 Warriors" by Michael Ritland and Gary Brozek (12), "Carrie and Me: A Mother-Daughter Love Story" by Carol Burnett (13) and "Martha's American Food" by Martha Stewart (14).

There were two books on this week’s mass market paperbacks best-sellers list that weren’t on the list last week. They included "Let Love Find You" by Johanna Lindsey (4) and "The Marrying Season" by Candace Camp (15).
