Tonight at 7:30 p.m., Oregon will play Kansas State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Look for Oregon to win that one, which will be televised on ESPN.
The only game scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) is the AT&T Cotton Bowl, which will feature Texas A&M and Oklahoma at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Expect A&M to win this one, which will begin at 7 p.m. and will be shown on FOX.
On Saturday, Ole Miss will play Pittsburgh in the BBVA Compass Bowl at Legion Field in Birmingham. Ole Miss should win this game, which will kick off at noon and will be televised by ESPN.
Sunday night at 8 p.m., the GoDaddy.com Bowl, featuring Kent State and Arkansas State, will kick off at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile. Arkansas State should carry the day in this one, which will also be shown on ESPN.
Last, but not least, the Discover BCS National Championship Game is scheduled for Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. That game, which will be televised on ESPN, will feature two of the most storied programs in college football history, Alabama and Notre Dame. Alabama enters with one loss, and Notre Dame’s undefeated.
I’d like to say that I think this will be a good game, but that wouldn’t be the truth. I’ll be shocked if Alabama doesn’t mule-stomp overrated Notre Dame into the grass on Monday night. In Monday’s edition of Sports Illustrated, the editors at SI predicted that Alabama would win, 23-16. I don’t think it’ll even be that close.

The National Football League wrapped up its regular season on Sunday and fans finally got to see which 12 teams made the playoff cut.
From the NFC, the Atlanta Falcons enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed, and the San Francisco 49ers are the No. 2 seed. Other NFC qualifiers include the Washington Redskins, the Seattle Seahawks, the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings.
From the AFC, the Denver Broncos are the No. 1 seed, and the New England Patriots enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed. Other AFC qualifiers include the Baltimore Ravens, the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans and the Cincinnati Bengals.
From the looks of things, this year’s slate of NFL playoff games could be some of the best in recent memory and it all starts with the Wild Card round this coming Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, look for Houston to beat Cincinnati and for Green Bay to beat Minnesota. On Sunday, expect Seattle to beat the Redskins and for Baltimore to beat the Colts.
Of those four games, that Washington-Baltimore game is likely one you won’t want to miss. Washington’s probably got the better team, but they’ll be too worn down from their previous game against Dallas to best the Ravens.
